Fields and levels of study

 

The subject areas listed below are available for exchange students(*). Their study at Joshibi should have a direct or close connection with their study at the home institution. Students at the Bachelor’s level will be assigned to one of our BFA programs, while students at the Master’s level to one of our MFA or BFA programs. The language in class and for communication on campus is Japanese. Exchange students should have a high proficiency in Japanese enough to survive in any academic and social situations. 

*Please note that we may decline to accept exchange students depending on the number of applications received.

*Please note that we do not accept male students for the Bachelor of Arts in Oil Painting and Media programs. Acceptance for other Bachelor programs/areas depends on specific circumstances and may not always be possible.
