オープン・レクチャー：オーストラリアの現代女性アーティストたちの芸術から学ぶ

このたび、女子美術大学の外国招聘特別講師プログラムにおいて、オーストラリア・ブリスベンにあるクイーンズランド州立美術館／現代美術館（QAGOMA）で教育部門責任者であるテリー・ディーン氏をお迎えいたします。

テリー・ディーン氏は、州立美術館において教育、アクセシビリティ、地域連携、ボランティアガイド事業に関するプログラムおよびリソースの監督・運営を担当しています。主な新規事業として、先住民学生を対象とした創造的キャリア形成プログラム「デザイン・トラックス」や、地方・遠隔地域向けの専門能力開発事業「アート・アズ・エクスチェンジ」の立案に携わりました。また、クイーンズランド美術館内の「全年齢対象学習センター」の設計・運営にも注力しています。

本講演では、クイーンズランド州立美術館／近代美術館（QAGOMA）のコレクションに収蔵されている影響力のある女性アーティストたちの作品を取り上げ、それらと美術館教育との相互関係について考察します。

This lecture explores the interplay between museum education and the practices of influential female artists in the Collection of the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA).

Joshibi University of Art and Design is pleased to welcome Terry DEEN, Head of Learning at the Queensland Art Gallery/Museum of Modern Art (QAGOMA) in Brisbane, Australia, as part of its International Special Lecture Program.

 

Terry DEEN oversees and manages programs and resources across Education, Access, Regional Services and Volunteer Guiding at the State Art Gallery. Key new initiatives developed include Design Tracks creative pathways program for Indigenous students and Art as Exchange a rural and remote professional development initiative. His role is focused on the design and delivery of an All-ages Learning Centre at the Queensland Art Gallery.
